Lava

Lava has existed in Kulturhuset since 1996. It's Kulturhuset's unique room and venture for youth culture, filled with creative activities, ideas and people, in constant change and development.

The aim of Lava is to inspire everyone between 13 and 25 years old to express themselves and all the ideas they believe in. Everything you need to realize your ideas should be available at Lava.

Our space includes a workshop area, gallery and a stage. You can take part in workshops, get advice, coaching or juggle your ideas with the experienced Lava staff.

One of our main ideas is that all the different projects and events at Lava should be based on the initiative by young people. We believe this to be a very important factor for a healthy community, now and in the future.
